To make sure your skip hire runs smoothly, please follow these simple rules:
Fill Level – Bins must not be filled above the rim. Overloaded bins cannot be safely transported and will not be collected. Additional charges will apply for bins that are overfilled.
Prohibited Waste – The following items are strictly not permitted: asbestos, hazardous chemicals and liquids, and batteries.
Surchargable Items – Additional fees apply for tyres, mattresses, lounge chairs, couches, gas bottles, and fire extinguishers.
Weight Limits – Please be mindful of weight restrictions. Heavy waste such as bricks, concrete, sand, and soil may only be placed in certain bin sizes.
Mixed Waste – Rubbish must be either Household/General Waste or Construction & Demolition (C&D) Waste. If C&D materials are mixed into a Household/General Waste bin, an additional charge of $220 per tonne will apply.
Placement – Once delivered, bins must remain in their original location. Moving a bin may cause damage or access issues.
Access – Ensure clear access for delivery and collection. Bins must not block driveways, footpaths, or public access ways.
Hire Period – Standard hire is up to 7 days. Extended hire is available at an additional weekly rate.
Safety – Do not climb into or onto bins. Children should be kept away at all times.
