Where a bin is booked as Construction & Demolition (C&D) waste, the load must consist of at least50% C&D material.
What is considered C&D (inert / recyclable material):
What is NOT considered C&D (Non-C&D / Class 2 materials):
If the disposal facility determines that non-C&D (Class 2) materials exceed 50% of the total load, the bin will bereclassified as Heavy Waste (Non-C&D) and a surcharge equal to 100% of the original bin hire price will applyto cover the increased disposal costs.
Important: Waste classification and material ratios are assessed by the disposal facility and are final.Any reclassification charges will be passed on to the customer.
